Vulcan Fire is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Technician to join our team at our Golden, Colorado office. As a growing leader in the life safety industry, we take pride in delivering exceptional service to our customers while creating opportunities for our employees to grow and succeed.
This is a full-time, on-site position with regular business hours Monday through Friday. Remote work and relocation assistance are not available.
Position SummaryThe Warehouse Technician plays a vital role in supporting our field and service operations by ensuring materials, equipment, and vehicles are efficiently managed and available when needed. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, stocking, delivering, and tracking inventory while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
In addition to warehouse responsibilities, this role will support field operations by delivering and picking up materials, equipment, and company vehicles from job sites and vendors throughout the Denver Metro area.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with multiple departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's most experienced life safety professionals while building valuable skills and industry knowledge.
This is a performance-driven position that requires the ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and materials
- Maintain accurate warehouse stock levels and inventory records
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for projects and service calls
- Deliver and retrieve materials, equipment, and company vehicles
- Assist with purchasing and order management activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Support technicians and project managers with material requests
- Conduct routine inventory counts and reconciliation
- Follow company procedures and safety requirements at all times
- Fleet management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and inventory systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple managers and departments
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Ability to remain productive in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to following all federal, state, and company safety requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
- Successfully pass a criminal background check
- Successfully pass a 10-panel drug screening
- Maintain an acceptable driving record for company insurance requirements
