UNC WAYNE IS HIRING A PER DIEM HOSPITALIST IN GOLDSBORO, NCUNC Health Wayne is looking for a BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, NC. This position involves delivering high‑quality, team‑based inpatient services. We offer a highly competitive compensation package and benefits including a quality bonus, CME, retirement plan and malpractice coverage.
Goldsboro is located one hour east of Raleigh, the vibrant state capital, and 90 minutes from the NC coast. Schedule7 am–7 pm (2 or more shifts a month)
Hospital Overview- 38 Emergency Beds
- 4 Trauma Beds
- 4 Behavioral Health Beds
- 15 Bed ICU (Closed)
- 8 Bed Labor and Delivery Unit
- 26 Bed Nursery
- 22 Bed Behavioral Health Unit
- EMR: EPIC
- Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
- One or more years of experience working as a Hospitalist
- Internal Medicine Residency preferred
- Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Skills:
Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
High‑level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
Certificates, Licenses, and RegistrationsNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
