Locums Urgent Care APP No Call Goldsboro, NCWhy This Role

• High-volume urgent care setting
• Solo provider coverage with strong onsite support staff
• Ongoing coverage need
• Multiple centers within 60-mile radius may need support
Assignment Details
• Start: ASAP
• Ongoing coverage
• Outpatient urgent care
• No call
• Solo provider model
• Average 40 patients per day (up to 60 PPD possible)
• EMR:
  Epic (training required)
Clinical Details
• Adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
• Urgent care scope:
- I&D - Laceration repair - Ear irrigation - Minor procedures
• Must be comfortable as sole provider in center
• Must maintain positive patient-centered demeanor
• Support staff includes:
- Center Manager - MA - PSA - Offsite Supervising Physician (for APPs)Requirements
• Board Certified PA or NP
• NCCPA (PA) or Family NP Certification required
• Active North Carolina license
• NC DEA required
• BLS required
• Minimum 12 months experience required
• No new grads
• Must have experience treating adults and pediatrics
• Must specify Epic proficiency at submission
• Must pass clinical screening
• Must complete required EMR training
Compensation
• Hourly Rate Cap: $95/hr
• Malpractice provided
• Mileage reimbursement only
• Providers may be asked to support locations within 60-mile radius of home
