Engineering Program Manager

Our client in the aerospace industry is seeking a Program Engineering Manager to lead engineering program delivery and drive execution across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering program delivery across bid & proposal, new product, active programs, and sustaining efforts.
• Develop and manage program schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Track performance against schedule, cost (including NRE), and deliverables.
• Identify and manage risks, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
• Serve as the primary interface between engineering, quality, operations, and business teams.
• Support proposal development, including execution plans, timelines, and cost structures.
• Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering planning, execution, and reporting processes.
• Provide leadership visibility into program status, performance, and risks.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering programs, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Strong program and project management skills with experience in planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Experience with cost estimation and Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
