In this role, you will independently manage a high volume of urgent care cases, including minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigation, all while delivering personalized patient care. You'll work seamlessly within our electronic medical record system (Epic), demonstrating proficiency in clinical documentation to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Effective communication, strong soft skills, and the ability to remain positive under pressure are essential to succeed in this position.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine
- Certification: NCCPA or equivalent board certification; PA-C or Family Nurse Practitioner certification
- Valid DEA registration and BLS certification
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Ability to independently see and treat all patients as the sole provider in the center
- Excellent soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and adaptability
- Capable of handling pediatrics (as young as 6 months) and adult patients
- Commitment to high-quality, efficient patient care in a high-volume setting
- Experience with minor procedures and urgent care protocols
- Prior credentialing with Medicare and other payers
- Knowledge of additional EMR systems or medical procedures
- Bilingual abilities for enhanced patient communication
- Student must possess at least 12 months of prior clinical practice in urgent or family care environments
- Board-certified or eligible for certification
- No new graduates considered
- Certify compliance with all credentialing and licensing requirements before onboarding
- Willingness to support multiple locations within a 60-mile radius
- Ability to participate in mandatory EMR training sessions scheduled weekly
- No call requirements; supervision is provided remotely by overseeing physicians
- Must pass clinical screening and credentialing process prior to first shift
- Availability to start on or around February 25, 2026
