Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring a NC or compact license and recent nursing experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the 7th floor of a hospital,

• Care for patients with complex medical conditions requiring intermediate-level monitoring,

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, three shifts per week,

• 13-week contract assignment,

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact state,

• Minimum one year of nursing experience required,

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC,

• Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred,

• Coordinate and deliver nursing care using the nursing process for patients with complex conditions,

• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes,

• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required,
