Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in North Carolina, requiring 2+ years of nursing experience and night shift availability.

Job Details

• 6th floor Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting,

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,

• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license with NC as primary state),

• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience required,

• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC required),

• CPI and NIHSS certifications required,

• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred,

• Two professional references required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation of complex patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient/family education,

• Coordinates discharge planning and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care,

• Drug screen results must be completed promptly upon commitment to the position; allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen processing
