Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities:- Identify and meet personal learning needs; attend relevant education programs.
- Use patient education materials and assess readiness to learn.
- Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with team to evaluate care and ensure continuity.
- Provide safe, competent care for patients with complex needs.
- Perform point-of-care testing and follow standards and policies.
Education:
Nursing Diploma OR ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.
Preferred Education:BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
Required Certifications & Licensure:Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
