Retention Bonus: up to $35,000 (4 years of work commitment)

Provides safe and competent clinical nursing care in accordance with professional standards. The Clinical Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process in a hospital environment.

• Identify and address personal learning needs; participate in relevant education programs.
• Utilize patient education materials and assess readiness to learn.
• Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans when necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate care and maintain continuity.
• Deliver safe, competent care to patients with complex clinical needs.
• Perform point-of-care testing in compliance with hospital standards and policies.
• Organize and prioritize patient care; consult appropriate resources for complex issues.
• Set and work toward professional development goals; support unit objectives.
• Communicate clearly and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and cost-effective care practices.
• Assess patient needs, anticipate discharge requirements, and support family advocacy.
• Plan care collaboratively using multidisciplinary resources and cultural awareness.
• Stay current through professional literature and contribute ideas for practice improvements.

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

• ADN / ASN from an accredited School of Nursing

• BSN or MSN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of North Carolina
