Wellness Coordinator

Job Description

Brookdale Country Day Road is hiring a Wellness Director for a senior living community that supports seniors through Assisted Living.

• Day-to-day oversight of the clinical department.
• Ensure consistent quality resident care and service delivery throughout all shifts.
• Oversee all clinical staff, including licensed nursing staff, medication technicians, and caregivers.
• Assist with resident care and support floor staff as necessary.
• Manage on‑call schedule.
• Supervise medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision/administration.

• Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, and that quality care is maintained.
• Assume the role of caregiver or Med Tech/aide as needed.
• Supervise licensed nursing staff, CMAs, and caregivers, providing ongoing training and education.
• Manage and oversee medication training, pharmacy management, medication supervision, and administration.
• Conduct medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
• Share on‑call duties as required.

• State nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) required; minimum of 1–2 years relevant experience.
• LPN or LVN license must be held.
