The Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse is based in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, focusing on adult patient care within a medical‑surgical unit. The role requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day and to have at least two years of current intermediate (step‑down) experience. The position is scheduled for day shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of current intermediate (step-down) nursing experience.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Education:
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing. - Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching hospital experience; EMR experience with Epic and Cerner systems.
