Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13 week travel assignment in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The assignment starts 08/03/2026 and involves 36 hours per week on 12 hour night shifts.

Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax free stipend amount to be determined.

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, document changes, and report concerns to the care team.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients recovering from medical or surgical conditions.
• Document comprehensive patient information in the medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
• Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritizing care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed, including hand hygiene and PPE use.
• Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with external resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

• NIHSS certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Proficiency in PC skills.
• Physical abilities: able to remain stationary, move equipment 50-100 lbs, push, pull, bend.
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel with a positive attitude.
• Technical/Motor skills: perform fine manipulation, push/pull, assist with procedures and equipment.
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under supervision occasionally, manage irregular schedules, maintain concentration to detail.
