Position: Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $1,900 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Job Summary

The healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This role involves delivering competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process to meet patient needs. The nurse will be responsible for coordinating patient care, participating in interdisciplinary teams, and supporting discharge planning and patient education.

    Night shifts, 12‑hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Requirements

  • 2+ years Med Surg/Tele experience.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Proficiency in patient care coordination, nursing process, patient education, patient assessment, communication systems, safety promotion, cultural competence, task prioritization, research application, care planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, point‑of‑care testing, healthcare standards compliance, discharge planning, professional growth, performance improvement, and cost‑effective care.
  • Clinical responsibilities include bedside point‑of‑care testing, complex patient assessments, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and contribution to quality improvement initiatives.
