Labor and Delivery Department Nursing position located in North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards, including patient assessment, education, care planning, and implementing interventions for patients in a hospital setting. The Clinical Nurse will coordinate care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes.

• Schedule:
  
  Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; at least 1 year of nursing experience; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA or ARC;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or ARC;
  Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing; 5 years of labor and delivery (L&D) experience;
  Epic electronic medical record experience; experience in circulating for C-sections and OB triage.
• Additional Information:
  The role involves performing bedside point of care testing required for patient care, managing care for patients with complex problems including population-specific physical and psychosocial needs, and collaborating effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care. Candidates should be ready to work in a hospital environment that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality improvement initiatives.
