RN – Labor and Delivery Recovery Postpartum

Goldsboro, North Carolina

Contract | Onsite

• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems, incorporating physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care appropriate to the patient population.
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required by the patient care plan and adhere to nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
• Circulate for C-sections and perform OB triage as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate patient care, communicate relevant information, and promote continuity of care.
• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of patients and families, consulting appropriate resources for complex care or high-risk discharge planning situations.

• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
• Ability to circulate for C-sections and triage OB patients.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
