Methodist Home for Children is seeking a Program Specialist to lead and support our unique Farm Transitional Living Program

Case Management & Youth Development
- Coordinate child and family team meetings and individualized service plans.
- Support youth in education, vocational training, and employment opportunities.
- Develop and monitor transition and aftercare plans (up to 6 months post‑placement).
- Connect youth to mentors, apprenticeships, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and case records.
Program & Staff Leadership
- Provide on‑site supervision of residential staff and program operations.
- Oversee budgets, scheduling, property management, and daily operations.
- Ensure delivery of direct treatment services consistent with agency standards.
- Provide 24‑hour on‑call/back‑up support as needed.
- Foster a structured, family‑style home environment.
Community & Operational Engagement
- Build relationships with families, service providers, volunteers, and neighbors.
- Transport youth to appointments, school, court, and community activities.
- Maintain compliance with contractual and accreditation standards.
- Participate in quality improvement and staff development initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field (required).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with teens; residential or at‑risk youth experience preferred.
- Supervisory or program leadership experience.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call coverage.
This is a hands‑on leadership role in a dynamic residential and farm setting. You must be comfortable with:
