Responsibilities- Check daily for new Service Requests (SRs, MSRs) or Work Orders in Design Manager; contact customers to clarify scope, timeline, and specifications.
- Check existing notifications/SRs on the same or nearby structures using cGIS; analyze scope of work and, based on standard guidelines, decide whether the work should be assigned to Planners or Field Techs.
- Analyze workload and skill sets of Planners/Field Techs and assign work to the most appropriate resource in Design Manager; bundle for Field Tech; update Planner folder in SharePoint.
- Verify new service requests, work orders, and contact customers to clarify scope, timeline, and specifications daily.
- Review work order management data and weekly project status reports for completeness and accuracy; make updates and corrections as appropriate, including tracking of projects with appropriate system tools.
- Interface with the Planners and Field Techs to ensure project status is up to date and accurate, and provide progress reports to leadership.
- Review and validate work order completion.
- Set up and administer SharePoint sites to organize, share, and protect information, including maintaining vital reports and updates to leaders.
- Maintain a safety‑conscious work environment.
- Ensure protection of all physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets and manage highly sensitive information with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
- Analytical experience using Microsoft Excel to perform advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts, and graphing.
- Experience working with scheduling software.
- Experience working in the electric utility industry.
- Experience with Design Manager, SAP, and Microsoft Office products.
- Project management experience.
- Customer service experience.
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Employees are required to work and reside in California unless otherwise noted.

- This position may offer a 9/80 Alternate Work Schedule or a 40‑hour/5‑day week.
- This position does not involve relocation.
- This position is eligible for a location‑based incentive if the employee commits to working on‑site and remaining at the specified location for an agreed timeframe.
- Applicants will be invited to take required tests such as an Excel Test (MS 365, Test #4118) if needed.
