Principal Analyst Data Manager
Location:
Goleta, CA (Onsite). Active Top Secret security clearance required. U.S. citizenship required.
- Identify all data deliverables that are part of a contract.
- Build and maintain a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system.
- Work with the Program Office to identify appropriate preparers and receive data within the PDM system, reviewing compliance.
- Solicit and secure programmatic approval, delivering information to the customer on time throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Review sub‑tier contractor requirements, build data tracks for supplier submissions, and receive data from various suppliers.
- Route approval and incorporate non‑deliverable program work products into prime contractor deliverables in the PDM system.
- Ensure configuration control of non‑deliverable program work products in the PDM system.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years experience in absence of a degree.
- 5 years professional experience in data management or related field.
- Experience with government standards and processes such as EIA‑649, GEIA‑859, and configuration management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience, or Advanced degree + 3 years, or 9 years experience in absence of a degree. - Ability to interpret scheduling and milestone requirements.
- Strong business acumen: planning, forecasting, analytical skills, negotiation, influence.
- Team‑based work experience with organizational and customer contacts.
- Sense of urgency, ability to meet challenging deadlines, attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal communication, relationship building, collaboration with diverse teams.
- Experience generating data management productivity metrics and reports.
- Experience estimating, proposing, and managing data management cost and schedule on a program.
- Experience with Windchill or similar PDM tools.
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification with relevant experience.
- Active DOD clearance.
