Principal Analyst Data Manager

Position Summary

Principal Analyst Data Manager located in Goleta, CA. The role is onsite.

• Identify all data deliverables made part of a contract.
• Build a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system, identify and receive data, and review for compliance.
• Solicit and secure programmatic approval, deliver information to the customer on time throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
• Review sub‑tier contractor requirements, build data tracks for supplier submissions, and receive data from various suppliers.
• Route approval and/or incorporate data into prime contractor deliverables to the customer.
• Secure non‑deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking.

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience with government standards and processes such as EIA‑649, Configuration Management Standard, and GEIA‑859, Data Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Current and active TOP SECRET government security clearance.

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or Advanced degree and 3 years, or 9 years of experience without a degree.
• Ability to interpret scheduling and milestone requirements.
• Strong business acumen including planning, forecasting, analytical skills, negotiation and influence.
• Team‑based work experience with organizational and external customer contacts.
• Sense of urgency, meeting challenging deadlines, attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration in cross‑functional teams.
• Experience generating Data Management productivity metrics and reports.
• Experience estimating, proposing, and managing Data Management cost and schedule on a program.
• Experience with Windchill or similar PDM tools.
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification with relevant experience.
• Active DOD clearance.
