Project Manager IV – Strategic Initiatives, Operational Excellence

• Support Greater Central Coast Division executive leaders and key stakeholders in advancing strategic and operational priorities.
• Lead and oversee complex initiatives requiring cross-functional coordination.
• Establish and support governance for strategic initiatives.
• Monitor performance and align initiatives with division and enterprise objectives.
• Plan tasks and allocate project resources.
• Manage project risks, issues, timelines, finances, quality, documentation, and reporting.
• Provide direction, monitoring, training, coaching, and work assignments to project staff.
• Plan and facilitate meetings.
• Develop actionable recommendations and make decisions to address project obstacles.

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, public health administration, or another related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of recent relevant experience.
• Thorough knowledge of project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, financial management, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documentation, and record keeping.
• Significant business background sufficient to understand project and industry operations and technical issues.
• Ability to anticipate and identify obstacles and make accurate decisions and recommendations.
• Ability to provide direction, monitor, train, coach, and assign work to project staff.
• Ability to work effectively with people from different disciplines and experience levels.
• Clear, concise, and tactful communication with management, vendors, peers, and staff.
• Adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
• Ability to plan and facilitate meetings.
• Thorough knowledge of Lean management system principles.
• Ability to gain cooperation and support through influence and persuasion.
• Conceptual, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to solve moderately complex problems and develop actionable recommendations.

Demonstrates extensive project management expertise, including risk management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring, while effectively leading cross-functional teams and facilitating strategic initiatives. Possesses strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills to navigate complex challenges and drive successful outcomes.
