Top Notch Driving School is growing and expanding! We are located in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Santa Maria Counties. We are looking to hire driving instructors for San Luis Obispo (SLO) and neighboring cities. Please apply if you are already an instructor or you are willing to go through the licensing process/training of becoming a driving instructor. We will provide paid training and pay for all application fees for the right candidate!
MAY LEAD INTO FULL TIME POSITION BY THE END OF THE YEAR - $15 - $17 Depending on Experience
Ideal for someone semi‑retired and looking for extra income.
For moms looking for part‑time work.
Adults looking for a 2nd job (must be available after 3PM).
Someone looking for a career change.
- DMV‑certified driving instructor (State of California) preferred but not required
- Min. 10 year experience of driving with no tickets or insurance claims
- Great communication skills and basic computer skills (training provided)
- Must be patient & friendly
- Willing to work 15 hours a week or more
- Flexible hours
- Must pass drug test and background checks
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License (Class
C) - Must have clean driving record (); use the link to get your DMV report (Cost $2)
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 30 years of age
