Senior System Engineer

We’re seeking to connect a Senior Systems Engineer with a leading defense and aerospace organization on a full-time basis. The role is onsite and located in Goleta, CA. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will join a highly collaborative team focused on developing advanced electro‑mechanical and control systems for mission‑critical applications.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and integrate complex electro‑mechanical systems
• Develop and analyze control algorithms for high‑performance systems
• Define hardware and software interfaces between subsystems
• Build and validate system models and simulations
• Support system integration, testing, and verification activities
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in systems or controls engineering
• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Control Systems or Signal Processing
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink
• Hands‑on experience with electro‑mechanical systems
• Strong communication skills and technical documentation experience

• Competitive salary range of $111,000–$177,000 per year
