Raytheon invites a Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) systems within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline. The role engages across the full lifecycle, from concept through deployment, ensuring mission‑critical defense systems operate seamlessly.
Responsibilities- Generate test plans/procedures to assess EW system performance.
- Produce test documentation for verification and acceptance of components, subsystems, and systems.
- Plan Initial Verification (IV) and Validation (V) activities.
- Execute IV&V activities for multidisciplinary integration and test teams.
- Conduct in‑house and off‑site test activities for system demonstrations and sell‑off.
- Brief senior program management and engineering leadership.
- Test EW hardware and software builds.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Physics) with a minimum of 8 years related experience.
- Experience in radar threat analysis or Electronic Warfare technique development/analysis.
- Experience in verification and validation of system/subsystem requirements.
- Leadership experience.
- Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required – only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.
- Familiarity with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture) and SysML.
- RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules.
- Flight Test experience.
- Experience with Special Test Equipment and Modeling & Simulation.
- Agile development environment experience.
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops delivery pipelines and software development principles.
- Proficiency with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities.
- Experience with security requirements related to government testing.
- Salary range: $112,000 – $224,000 USD, depending on experience.
