Position:
Senior Systems Engineer (Electronic Warfare)
- Serve as the primary Systems Engineering focal point for the program.
- Manage configuration process, perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Partner with the Program Chief Engineer to ensure engineering team aligns to cost/schedule.
- Provide technical directions to multi-disciplinary program teams.
- Implement and ensure adherence to systems engineering processes throughout program lifecycle.
- Oversee development and maintenance of technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
- Coordinate system engineering activities: requirements analysis, system design, integration and testing.
- Conduct system-level trade studies and performance analysis.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and customer presentations.
- Support program management with technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Perform architectural exploration, decompose customer specifications and system level requirements into subsystem and component requirements, and generate verification criteria and plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Physics) and 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
- Experience in EW/Radar system development, including requirements decomposition, architecture definition, and system-level integration & verification planning.
- Experience developing systems engineering artifacts such as requirements, specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), and verification/validation (V&V) plans.
- Experience supporting system-level technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and coordinating across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Preferred:
Writing, managing, and tracing system and subsystem requirements for EW/Radar systems throughout the lifecycle. - Defining system architectures, performance budgets, and interface definitions (RF, digital, and mixed‑signal).
- Planning and overseeing development of Special Test Equipment (STE) and system‑level test infrastructure.
- Analyzing and modeling EW/Radar system performance, including RF chain, signal processing, and end‑to‑end behavior.
- Knowledge of millimeter wave and microwave RF at module and system levels.
- Integrating mixed‑signal modules into higher level assemblies, including interface and configuration management.
- Experience developing or interpreting security and cybersecurity requirements relevant to government systems.
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and processes, including SysML and Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
- Flight test or field test experience supporting system-level evaluation and data analysis.

Salary range: $90,000 – $182,000 USD. Compensation may be adjusted based on experience, role, and other factors.
