Salary Range

$95,500 – $181,700 USD (annually)

Responsibilities
  • Design innovative Readout Integrated Circuits (ROIC) for imaging systems across CMOS nodes from 180nm to 28nm.
  • Write RTL using Verilog and System Verilog.
  • Construct test benches for RTL simulation and verification.
  • Perform synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), place‑and‑route (P&R), design for test (DFT) with scan chains, and logical equivalence check.
  • Own the full digital design flow from front‑end RTL and verification to back‑end sign‑off.
  • Train and guide junior engineers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital design and sign‑off tools (Cadence Genus/Innovus, Conformal, Tempus, Voltus, Synopsys Design Compiler, IC Compiler, Fusion Compiler, Prime Time, TestMAX). Experience with TCL scripting and lint tools is required.
  • Strong understanding of both front‑end digital design (RTL writing/verification) and back‑end digital design (synthesis and P&R).
  • Familiarity with ROIC architecture, operational control, and timing.
  • Experience writing behavioral models for digital circuits and analog/mixed‑signal interfaces.
  • Experience participating in a digital‑on‑top mixed‑signal design flow, including use of Innovus for final chip construction.
  • Knowledge of simulators such as Spectre, Ultrasim, and Custom Sim.
  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
