Production Operations Program Lead

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project and/or Program Management in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in leading multi-discipline teams.
• Cost account management experience.
• LSS certification or significant training.
• Transitioning programs from Development to Production and experience in Ramp to Rate activities.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance; US citizenship is required.

You will be a Production Operations Program Lead at the Santa Barbara Focal plane site. Our team delivers high‑quality infrared products and services for Lockheed Martin and other customers.

As the Production Operations Program Lead you will be responsible for overseeing operational aspects of ongoing projects and acting as the liaison between project management, planning, the project team, and line management.

• Oversee and manage operational aspects of projects, serving as liaison between project management, planning, project team, and line management.
• Review project status and budgets.
• Manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client‑satisfaction goals.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervene with project managers, line managers, and clients.

• Black Belt Certification.
• Experience in semiconductor fabrication.
• Experience with reading and interpreting electro, optical, mechanical drawings and specifications.

This position is located in Santa Barbara, CA at a Lockheed Martin facility. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance and is required to be a U.S. citizen.
