Principal Software Test Engineer, Onsite

• Lead and participate with a Software Test team, including deriving testing requirements from system and software specifications.
• Design and implement test configurations for various stages of hardware and software development.
• Perform physical installations and connections of equipment and software to establish and maintain test environments, updating as needed.
• Create test plans to demonstrate compliance with software specifications, execute the plans, and document results.
• Prepare and submit documentation in accordance with the Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL).
• Produce planning and technical work products for internal customers to solve complex problems.
• Manage budget and schedule for testing as Test Team Leader, interacting with hardware, electrical, systems, and other team leaders.
• Engage with a fast‑paced and dynamic product development environment.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience setting up, configuring, and connecting test scenarios using target hardware, input and driver devices, and data collection systems.
• Team leadership experience, including managing people, budget, and schedules.
• Lab experience in product testing using logic analyzers, high‑speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and system‑on‑chip debugging tools or similar.
• U.S. citizenship is required; the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance is mandatory.

• Ability to drive results and coordinate with Software, Hardware, and Systems teams within agile processes.
• Experience developing technical documents for internal and customer distribution.
• Familiarity with object‑oriented programming languages, software design, integration and test.
• Experience with embedded microprocessor design, SoC software design, FPGAs, high‑speed transceivers, DDR, flash memories, block diagrams, signal analysis or generation, and real‑time operating systems.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Existing Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare Electronic Attack/Electronic Support, Radar, or Secure Communications technology.
• Familiarity with software tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Dev Sec Ops , interface and bus standards.
• Experience with scripting and test automation.
