• Support work in the Hardware/Firmware Engineering Department at the Electronic Warfare Systems
• Support work on new product development based on descriptions and specifications provided by our customers.
• Partner with integrated product teams to design, develop, and manufacture complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications.
• Activities include detailed digital design, embedded systems, and FPGA development.
• Complete specific tasks including circuit analysis, circuit simulation, FPGA programming, design documentation, design verification and testing, and integration of hardware and software at the level of electronic components and circuit boards.
• This 1st shift role is 100% onsite and based in Goleta, CA.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance post-start is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience with basic lab equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.).
• Experience using engineering tools (i.e. Vivado, Quartus, etc.) for design (i.e. VHDL, Verilog, etc.).

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.

-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
