This role serves as a critical bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to support new
product launches and ongoing product excellence. You will lead manufacturing alignment, prototype and
component risk management, and hands-on support for DFM, lean line readiness, and validation activities.
The position also plays a key role in engineering demonstrations, warranty trend analysis, and failure
investigation to drive continuous improvement and customer confidence. Ideal for a proactive problem-solver,
this role offers broad exposure across the product lifecycle and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on
product quality, manufacturability, and speed to market.
Your Responsibilities Manufacturing Liaison / Support- Maintain regular manufacturing issues alignment with engineering
- Contribute to monthly Kaizen workshops. Small but continuous improvements
- Equipment definition support, manufacturing requirements, etc
- Create purchase requestions
- DFM management
- Lean Line reviews
- Nee concept / Manufacturing roadmap Proof of Concept studies
- coordination of prototype builds with internal or external partners/suppliers
- test of prototypes
- record / tracking prototypes for delivery
- develop strategy for prototype management and supply chain coordination
- manage alternate part proof of concept projects
- manage product supply chain risk
- maintain regular reviews for EoL or at risk components
- manage component risk / supply chain strategy matrix
- understand customers needs of demonstration kits (i.e. KPI evaluation, development, integration with CAN, etc)
