THEOPPORTUNITY
Responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of primarily private clients. Performs all duties in accordance with company policies, U.S. state and federal laws, and regulatory requirements.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE- Develop and manage a portfolio of privately‑held business clients, ranging from complex credits to deposit‑only relationships.
- Lead negotiations with prospects and clients.
- Grow revenue by prospecting new business and expanding existing relationships through interest income, fee income and cash‑management revenue.
- Provide financial advice and sell appropriate bank products and services.
- Build strong relationships with referral sources and centers of influence.
- Structure and underwrite credits jointly with Loan Portfolio Managers.
- Use computer terminals or personal computers to process account activity, determine balances and resolve problems within authority limits.
- Answer direct, telephonic or email questions from clients and staff, directing callers when necessary.
- Assume responsibility for department functions during staff absences or overload situations.
- Follow all established policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
- At least twelve years of experience in sales or relationship management.
- Experience in commercial and related lending and portfolio products preferred.
- Advanced computer skills, including mainframe, word processing, spreadsheets and specialty software.
- Intermediate knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations, including fair lending, privacy, RESPA, and company policies.
- Intermediate math skills for interest calculation, balance reconciliation and rate/ratio/probability analysis.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the immediate work unit.
- Ability to organize thoughts and prioritize work on a short‑term and long‑term basis.
- Ability to handle complex problems in non‑standardized situations.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.

The base salary is determined by evaluating education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
