Senior Analyst, Security - Goleta, CA

What You Will Do

• Process a high volume of Program Access Requests (PARs)
• Manage the program personnel database
• Provide security guidance regarding program operations
• Conduct briefings and debriefings
• Carry out administrative tasks including parcel checks, alarm testing, visit certifications, and track reporting of foreign travel and adverse information to Government customers
• Assist with implementing the Security Education and Media Control Plan
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of 5220.22-M NISPOM, 5205.07 DoD Manual, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives
• Support COMSEC tasks
• Collaborate in a team environment to develop, update, and implement security policies and procedures in coordination with company policies and government regulations
• Support Government Inspections and program self‑inspections
• Plan, schedule, and arrange activities to accomplish objectives
• Work extended hours in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Travel on company business
• Display tact, discretion and diplomacy when dealing with all levels of employees
• Obtain and maintain all required access for the programs

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Usual requirement of a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field
• Experience with 5220.22‑M NISPOM, 5205.07 DoD Manual, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives
• U.S. citizenship and an active Top‑Secret security clearance

• Understanding of NISPOM and DoD manuals and related government guidance
• Security‑related certifications and training courses
• Experience with SIMS and DISS databases
• Working knowledge of Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG)
