About

the Role

Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Digital Solutions System Administrator to join the team in our Bank Operations department. As a Digital Solutions System Administrator, you will deliver a World Class Experience by being a part of an enterprise-wide effort to connect the members of the user community with expertise specific to the needs of such user community. The subject matter expert of digital solutions systems administration includes Commercial Center, Architect/Architect SB, Bill Pay, Zelle, ACH, Wires, Positive Pay, Merchant Capture, Transfer Now, Notifi, Mobile Banking and other digital banking modules, and related applications in addition to the ways clients use them and associates support them.

You will be responsible for all digital banking systems’ management, design and implementation support, update/enhancement, integration, reporting, and communication with the user community. The Digital Solutions System Administrator works as part of the team to support the user community by collaborating with other departments to meet their strategic initiatives by recommending specification changes to the system to enable the departments to provide a World Class Experience to our customers.

You will be located in Goleta, CA with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5-8 years of similar or related experience with digital banking platforms, and related digital applications, as well as knowledge of data and systems integration within a banking environment.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of commonly used financial institution concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Intermediate technical skills in core system processes.
  • Ability to evaluate system process, control, and change requests to determine client impact and financial risk factors.
Your Responsibilities

The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Determines and documents banking system requirements and configuration.
  • Manages and coordinates the releases.
  • Plans, releases, schedules, and understands upcoming system/configuration changes.
  • Makes recommendations to Bank regarding upgrade/change schedule (accept or reject).
  • Identifies, manages, and resolves system defects.
  • Considers impacts of custom code; performs user acceptance testing of new code.
  • Communicates system changes to impacted Bank associates.
  • Establishes processes for workflows and user guides in collaboration with systems users.
  • Monitors uptime and adherence to SLA, tracks downtime for possible violations of SLAs, and requests vendor credits for missed SLAs.
