Position Summary
Program Manager position within Raytheon Vision System (RVS) Tactical Products, part of Advanced Products & Solutions (APS). The PM will define program strategy, vision, tactical direction, develop statement of work, lead proposals, capture activities, set cost and schedule baselines, and execute the program within that plan.
Key Responsibilities- Define program strategy, vision, and tactical direction necessary for successful execution.
- Develop the statement of work and lead proposal and capture activities.
- Establish realistic cost, schedule, and technical baselines and ensure execution within those plans.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain regular communication with customers and internal leadership.
- Prepare Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Estimate at Complete (EACs), and coordinate Customer Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs).
- Develop and adhere to individual program Annual Operating Plans (AOPs).
- Prepare and manage financial baselines, budgets, schedules, and technical performance metrics.
- Travel domestically for business and customer needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant program management experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years.
- Experience interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong program management skills, including cost and schedule management, Earned Value Management (EVMS), risk and opportunity management, bids, proposals, and business strategy.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship required; active U.S. Secret DoD clearance required on day 1.
- Raytheon Program Management Level 5 Certification or ability to obtain within one year.
- Self‑starter capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Ability to build trust‑based relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of RVS and EOIRS products and end‑uses.
- Onsite assignment in Goleta, California.
- Domestic travel required as needed.
- Salary range: 118,300
USD – 224,900
