Senior Program Manager – Emerging Programs Directorate

Location: Goleta, CA (Onsite)

Security Clearance: Active, transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued clearance required prior to start date.

• Understand and represent customer needs to leadership while building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and key suppliers.
• Accountability for profit and loss, EAC inputs, and program execution including risk, opportunity, cost, quality, and schedule performance.
• Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, and support internal and external reviews with leadership and customers.
• Provide leadership and direction to a cross‑functional team across multiple Raytheon sites.
• Identify and react to problems and support solutions, including allocation of resources and operational execution.
• Manage and grow the customer relationship and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead proposal and negotiation activities with domestic customers, industry partners, and suppliers.
• Support domestic travel as needed.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant program‑management or leadership experience (or 17 years with an advanced degree).
• Experience leading sustainment programs.
• Experience with EAC reviews, customer program‑management reviews, and proposal/negotiation activities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. government contract formation, execution, and management.
• Experience overseeing and monitoring supplier performance and developing corrective actions.
• Proven success creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, and internal peers.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Gov. and RTX contract life cycle.
• Ability to develop briefings and present to senior leadership.
• Program Management Level 5 certification preferred or ability to obtain within one year.

• Competitive salary range: $145,600 – $276,800 USD.
