You will be the Production Operations Senior Manager for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Santa Barbara Focalplane (SBF) facility. Our team is responsible for overseeing end to end manufacturing, engineering, and support functions at our site in Goleta, CA. What You Will Be Doing As the Production Operations Senior Manager, you will report to the Vice President Production Operations Sites with a dotted line to the site General Manager.

As a member of the Site Senior Leadership staff, you will work closely with other senior site leaders across all functions. Santa Barbara Focalplane supports multiple Lockheed Martin Business Areas and MFC lines of businesses, and external customers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Lead an organization of Production Operations employees including all employees in Production, Planning & Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Detector Physics, Industrial/Operations Engineering, Facilities, Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) and Production Line of Business (LOB) Management
* Responsible for the SBF factory including wafer fabrication, Focal Plane Array test and fabrication, dewar fabrication and Integrated Dewar Cool Assembly fabrication and test Why Join Us The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a complex, high impact environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• A full spectrum leader with demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of executives and first-line management, industry peers, and internal and external customers

• Experience developing, leading and successfully executing affordability initiatives

• Strategic thinker with manufacturing leadership experience, and lean manufacturing focus

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience working in SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, cost, quality, and schedules

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired

Skills:

• Experience in infrared or semiconductor manufacturing

• Ramp to rate and high-volume manufacturing experience

• Manufacturing site leadership

• Greenbelt or Blackbelt certified

• Experience working with DOD requirements

• Production Operations Program Management experience

• Experience working with unions and managing a represented workforce and collective bargaining agreements

• Experience leading Performance Management Team

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
