Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extensive use of Stereo-microscopes at seated work bench
- Precision alignment using 'Z' scopes at standing bench
- Wire bonding with manual and automatic wire bonders
- Wire bond pull testing
- Adhesive bonding
- Ultrasonic cleaning
- Helium Leak Detection
- Spot welding and inspection
- Use of electrical meters
- Use of common manufacturing chemicals and solvents
- Use of calipers, micrometers, Height gauges, and dial indicators
- Use of precision hand tools, tweezers, micro-pliers, and cutters
- Work effectively in a team environment
Job Qualifications:
- Read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- High degree of manual dexterity and use of hands
- Basic computer skills
- Two years of micro-electronics manufacturing or military experience
- Close attention to detail, use of microscopes
- High degree of visual acuity
- Fundamental math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Wire bonding experience, manual preferred
- Z scope experience
- Soldering and spot welding
- Able to read and work from engineering documentation
- Use of metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, Z scope)
Requirements:
- Clean room environment, at minimum - Smock, Facemask, Gloves, Hairnet, and ESD footwear. May include full 'bunny' suit
- Approx. 60% sitting and 40% standing and walking
- Observe ESD precautions
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Salary Range: $37,200.00-$49,600.000
