Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

• Manage small projects or processes.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight from manager.
• Coach and review the work of area technicians.
• Collect status and barriers to enable effective shift handoffs and communication to factory supervision.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce cycle times and increase throughput in work cells.
• Provide team leadership and model behaviors including adherence to policies and factory rules, timely completion of required training, and attention to detail.
• Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
• Rotate between labs and support numerous teams.
• Balance labor resources to support changing production priorities.
• Ensure production documentation, labor reporting, and manufacturing records such as sign offs/JSTD certs are accurate and completed on time.

• University degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing, Operations, Planning, Production, and/or Quality environments.

• Time management skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced assembly experience in detector packaging technologies such as laser welding, sub-assemblies and precision alignment.
• Experience in manufacturing information systems.
• Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of lab operations.
• Factory communications, Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 structure understanding.
• Understanding of 30-60-90 and flow down to factory management.

Salary range: 95,500 USD – 181,700 USD.
