Thin Films Production Specialist
Location:
Goleta, California (US-CA-GOLETA-B02 ~ 75 Coromar Dr ~ BLDG B02)
Work Type:
Onsite, 1st Shift (start time negotiable)
Security Clearance:
DoD Secret clearance required (must be active and maintained after day
1)
- Cleaning of optics and maintenance of chambers
- Source preparation and deposition of coatings in chambers
- Photolithography, measurements, defect mapping, and packaging
- Critical metrology such as spectral evaluation, metal thickness, and wafer flatness
- Cross‑functional communication and teamwork to track WIP, move production, and address production issues in a timely manner
- Update documentation, create reports, and log data as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years combined or related photolithography or optical deposition experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
- Experience with deposition or photolithography equipment, with knowledge of ESD, safety, and security protocols
- Experience in Excel and production tracking systems
- Ability to work safely with deposition processing equipment, chemicals, and raw production materials in a lab setting with basic gowning requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and rigorous attention to detail
- Understanding of FOD and FOD reduction methods and concerns
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Troubleshooting experience
Hourly rate: $32.00 to $37.00. Your pay may vary based on experience, role, and responsibilities.
