Production Worker - 2nd Shift

Pay Range: $25-30
Shift: 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, standard hours with some flexibility)
The primary mission of this role is to support the packaging of IR detectors for high reliability space, military, and commercial applications. Tasks include following rigorous methodologies and instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities may involve working with chemicals (epoxies, adhesives, solvents, etc.), handling small parts, and performing visual inspections.
Main functionsA self-motivated, self-disciplined individual is required. Ability to collaborate with individuals and teams outside the department is necessary. Technicians will be expected to wear company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow safety processes, procedures, and protocols. Tasks may require pushing a cart, extending arms above shoulder height, and detailed inspection of small parts.
Required Skill SetsPrevious experience in a cleanroom and around ESD-sensitive parts is a plus. Understanding of FOD and FOD reduction methods is advantageous. Familiarity with Z-scopes is preferred. Experience in tab bonding or wire bonding is highly desired.

A high school diploma or GED is required. Technicians must communicate in English and understand written and verbal instruction in English.
Success will be measured by the ability to successfully complete online factory access training and approval skill training (sign-off) within 3 months or less.
CultureThe contractor will work in a collaborative team environment. Technicians will train under a senior technician, technician lead, or process engineer depending on skill set and sensitivity of the operation. The successful candidate will communicate effectively in English with technicians, management, process engineers, and support staff.
