Materials Planner

Job Summary

Under the direction of the cell manager, this role supports material planning and movement throughout the manufacturing process, including build/test areas, work cells, labs, and departments. Responsibilities include scheduling, receiving, inspecting, kitting, moving, issuing, and packaging materials to meet internal and external customer requirements and commitments.

• Label, stage, count, and issue materials in support of schedules.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate material requirements to support production schedules, customer commitments, and timely movement of work through manufacturing.
• Maintain documentation and product traceability and system integrity through accurate data entry.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment, including adherence to 5S protocols.

• 5+ years in a Manufacturing and/or Material environment.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate material requirements to support production schedules and customer commitments.
• Experience with Materials Requirement Planning.
• Experience with MES Systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs., unassisted.

Salary Range: $50,600.00-$67,500.00
