Thin Films Deposition Production Specialist S3

Position Type:
Onsite, 1st Shift: Start time negotiable in Goleta, California. This is an onsite position.

• Cleaning of optics and maintenance of chambers
• Source preparation and deposition of coatings in chambers
• Photolithography, measurements, defect mapping, and packaging
• Critical metrology like spectral evaluation, metal thickness, and wafer flatness
• Cross functional communication and teamwork to track WIP, move production, and address production issues in a timely manner
• Update documentation, create reports, or log data as needed

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years combined or related photolithography or optical deposition experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

• Experience with deposition or photolithography equipment with the ability to maintain all ESD, Safety, and security protocols
• Experience in Excel and production tracking systems
• Ability to work safely with various deposition processing equipment, chemicals, and raw production materials in a lab setting with basic gowning requirements
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and rigorous attention to detail
• Understanding of FOD and FOD reduction methods and concerns
• Has experience in Microsoft Office
• Troubleshooting experience

The hourly range for this role is $27.00 to $32.00. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
