Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join the team in Goleta, CA for a contract assignment of up to 6 months
.

The Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality through program quality assurance, root cause analysis, corrective action, customer quality support, and cross‑functional collaboration. This individual will work closely with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and customer‑facing teams to help deliver defect‑free products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to develop and implement quality assurance plans, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality expectations.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on quality performance metrics while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide quality support and communication to customers and internal stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a STEM‑related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, or space technology environments.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards, including ISO 9001 and AS9100 is preferred.
• Proven experience leading or supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR requirements.
