Responsibilities

Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Identify non-conformances and lead the CAPA process.

Utilize extensive root cause analysis experience to identify areas for improvement and implement effective corrective actions.

Maintain our AS9100 quality management system.

Provide quality engineering support to the manufacturing process, including problem-solving and process improvements.

Train and mentor junior quality engineers and other team members on quality assurance processes and tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in the space or aerospace industry.

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is preferred.

Proven experience with AS9100.

Extensive experience with CAPA and non-conformances.

Proven experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
