• Read and write English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memorandums.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (optional)

The Part‑Time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, which may include receiving inventory, stocking and maintaining a store section, operating a cash register, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

• Maintain a store section, order, receive, and stock merchandise; ensure proper pricing and rotation; set up advertising displays; review invoices for accuracy.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, process refunds, and verify customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient assistance to customers; load purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties; record loss/damaged goods and supplies.
