Overview:
Become a Part-Time HP Retail Sales Associate! Pay: $18.50 per hour.
Schedule:
Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs.
Location:
Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores.
- Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments.
- Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores; tailor demonstrations to customer needs.
- Build rapport with customers and maintain professional relationships with store management and staff.
- Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
- Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness.
- Report activities and provide competitive insights.
- Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional, and presentable at all times.
- Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Adhere to performance measurements such as regular attendance and achieving sales quotas/goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six (6) months of prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience; demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
- Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Be a problem-solving, tech-savvy enthusiast with an outgoing personality and willingness to learn.
- Be comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training.
- Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
- Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus; training or product demonstration experience is a plus.
- 1-year job experience required.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed; ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
