At Sun Shuttle & Transit we are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Bus Attendant.

As a Bus Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers, particularly adult special needs, during their bus transportation to their day programs. This is a vital role in providing a positive and comfortable experience for all passengers.

• Assist clients with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Maintain order and discipline among passengers to ensure a safe and peaceful environment.
• Monitor passenger behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly and appropriately.
• Collaborate with the bus driver to ensure smooth operation of the bus route.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, parents, and program staff.
• Provide basic first aid assistance if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bus interior.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols.

• Strong behavior management skills, particularly when dealing with adult special needs.
• Proficient in English (both verbal and written).
• Per R&D contract, Attendant must be 21 years or older.
