Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2 with Security Clearance

Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2 to support our Shipping/Receiving department. As a member of NG you will work in an exctiting fast paced environment for a company that is on the cutting edge of the aerospace industry. This position will serve on-site at Goleta, CA. Responsibilities Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties, may work out of a central warehouse.
Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Unpacks and packs or unwraps and wrap items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications, logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
Reports materials shipped and bills of lading, posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
Basic Qualifications for Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2 2-5 years experience in shipping/receiving
Ability to work as part of a team
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
Ability to multi task and be detailed
Demonstrated ability to use basic manual tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications for Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2 Forklift experience/certification
Hazardous material certification/experience
DOT and IATA certifcations
UPS/FED EX shipping experience
Aerospace material shipping/receiving
This position is intended to be contracted to hire. While this is our intent, this is not a promise to hire by Northrop Grumman. This contract position aligns with our full-time shipping receiving coordinator. Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
