Mechanical Technician

Ultimate Staffing has partnered with a fast growing and exciting company to work for in Gonzales CA. We are looking to hire multiple Mechanical Technicians to work on a long-term (Temp to Hire) basis. We also need candidates that can train on day shift and go to 2nd shift (10% differential pay) up to ~$33 per hour.

We are seeking enthusiastic and resourceful individuals with a strong mechanical background to join our growing Upgrades team as Mechanical Technicians. • Leverage your mechanical prowess and unique skills to construct cutting‑edge components and assemblies for our generators, following procedures while also identifying opportunities for innovation.
• Conduct thorough inspections of test units and meticulously document findings to provide crucial insights for our engineering team.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements that enhance both the safety and efficiency of our groundbreaking work.

• Minimum of 6 months of hands‑on experience with mechanical assembly and/or repair. Experience with automotive or heavy equipment assembly is a plus.
• Proven ability to learn quickly, a strong sense of self‑motivation, and a demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments, capable of measurements down to .001", using tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and gauge blocks.
• Metal fabrication skills are considered a plus.

$27 - $30 an hour (Pay rate DOE observed during interview process)

This position is onsite at our Gonzales CA site. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee. Along with the base salary, upon becoming a regular employee the Company offers pre‑IPO stock options and benefits.
