The Construction Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves managing construction crews, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities- Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage construction crews and coordinate subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
- Resolve construction-related disputes and address customer concerns.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure workmanship meets specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field. Previous experience in construction supervision or project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Understand safety aspects of managing work within a turnaround.
- Understanding of Process Welding & QC.
- Manage Critical Lifts & understand the documentation required for the SWP.
- Serve as contractor single point of contact.
- Manage Contractor Tool Box Meetings.
- Approve Contractor Time Sheets.
- Use & Understand P6 Schedule and use to manage priorities.
- Read & understand P&.
- Support Bid Document Preparation.
- Assist in preparation & vetting of job packages.
Will need a Passport to travel to Canada (Corunna St. Claire Canada TAR location).
