Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Site Manager

The Person nel Consulting Group is working with a growing commercial general contractor in the Greater Baton Rouge area seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from kickoff through final handover. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role manages job site execution, project budgets, subcontractor coordination, and client relationships across regional commercial developments.

• Lead overall project delivery to complete commercial builds on schedule and within budget.
• Create detailed work breakdowns, baseline schedules, and risk logs within five days of project award.
• Partner with field superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure daily progress meets quality and safety standards.
• Manage pay applications, cost forecasting, and change-order logs to protect project profitability.
• Complete job closeouts with zero open punch-list items and final owner turnover within ten days of substantial completion.
• Provide weekly project status, schedule variance, and cash-flow updates directly to ownership.

• Proven track record managing commercial construction projects (e.g., office, retail, healthcare, or tenant build-outs) for a general contractor.
• Expertise in cost-loaded scheduling, subcontracts, document control, and budget management.
• Strong operational problem-solving skills with a lean, efficient management approach.
• Clear communication skills with field crews, architects, engineers, and client representatives.
• Valid driver’s license with flexibility for regular site visits throughout the Greater Baton Rouge area.
